With our manufacturer profiles these last few weeks featuring several other local small businesses in manufacturing, it only seems right to keep that trend going and talk more about Nebraska’s incredible small business manufacturing scene.

, based in Alliance, Nebraska, is an award-winning manufacturing company that excels in custom design of dependable, high-performance automotive HVAC systems.

Perrin Manufacturing has been around since 1972, and in that time have become some of the most advanced experts in their field. And taking a look at their capabilities, it’s not hard to see why.

Their main focus is designing, testing and building HVAC systems for off-road, heavy duty vehicles, including:

• Earth movers
• Skid steers
• Tree mulchers
• Broom sweepers
• Tractors
• Sprayers
• Road pavers
• Loaders
• Road graders and more

But that’s not all they do. Perrin Manufacturing also does all of the following:

4. Prototype building and testing
5. Manufacture of climate control systems from their designs or yours
6. Manufacture of components

So really, their capabilities are much more advanced than just manufacturing HVAC systems. They can actually custom design those systems, test them, and eventually put them into production. It’s no wonder they’re regarded as experts in their space.

Another great thing about Perrin Manufacturing is their involvement with manufacturing education. In addition to their involvement with us here at NeMAC, they were in the Omaha World-Herald for their .

Dan Koch, president and CEO of Perrin Manufacturing, is with us in his thinking that the manufacturing of today isn’t like it used to be–instead, it’s brightly-lit, clean, safe, and well-paying. And it’s hard to argue with that!

Perrin Manufacturing is yet another one of the small businesses in manufacturing here in Nebraska with a real involvement in manufacturing education, and in the community. They’re a strong contributor to the strong manufacturing industry here in Nebraska, and along with other small businesses (and big ones, too), we’re confident that they’ll continue offering quality jobs to students willing to invest time and energy into manufacturing.
