A new video is making its rounds in the manufacturing space (including on ) that ought to get you thinking about the importance of manufacturing.

In the video, which you can see above, the  asks Milennials on the street what manufacturing is and why it’s important. As you can see, some of the interviewees are flat-out stumped (“What is manufacturing?” “Ummmmmmmmmm…”), and others are a little more well-spoken about the importance of manufacturing.

At a time where manufacturing is so important–especially right here in our state of Nebraska–it’s very interesting to see the perception of manufacturing here in the United States. We’re doing our part to spread the good word about manufacturing, but what about you?
